BIOGRAPHY

Kia is a proud Colorado native and CU Buff (undergraduate degree) who brings over 7 years of litigation experience to the Matlin Team. Throughout those 7 years, Kia has represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases. Whether she is helping clients prepare for a deposition, negotiating in mediation or listening to her clients and learning about their journey, Kia approaches every case with empathy and understanding. Along the way, she has also worked in business litigation, served as fractional general counsel, handled appellate matters, and assisted clients with domain disputes and trademark registrations. Outside of work, she can be found running at Red Rocks, listening to music, and/or spending as much time as possible with her family.
